HQ Refurbishment
Redesign and modernisation of an existing HQ office, to maximise the space available and to incorporate a new branded office landscape. Furniture and fit-out project for Lane4 in Bourne End, Bucks, UK.
The brief was to update Lane4’s burgeoning offices and strategically redistribute staff within a refurbished space conscious environment. We utilised a diverse range of office landscapes to house the company’s 90 person resident workforce with the flexibility for up to 40 visiting consultants.
Space-pod also created a branded suite of meeting rooms, a break out space, additional meeting rooms with dining booths, all within a 10-week phased project window whilst the client was in occupation.
The project involved integrating Lane4’s existing branding, corporate image and aspirations to create some fantastic cityscapes and Lane4 branding both in manifestation and digital wallpapers to key working areas.. The creation of whiteboard walls were an invaluable tool for Lane4’s individual way of working, as were locker systems and hot desks for their varied range of in house and out of house teams.
With the office numbers increasing, acoustics were of particular significance. Decorative acoustic panels were installed in dense areas to ameliorate sound transfer and lower reverberation of noise. The addition of an acoustically separated webinar room has brought a great new environment where outside noise can be excluded. Within our scope of works we also completely replaced and updated the existing Air Conditioning system.
