Supporting the Art & Design show at Bucks New University

‘Head and shoulders above the rest of them’

Space-pod is extremely proud to support this year’s Art & Design show at Bucks New University and were particularly impressed with the level of work exhibited by the third year BA (Hons) Spatial Design students.

Tim Matthews (pictured above) was announced as winner of the ‘space-pod prize for Spatial Design 2016’ and was presented with a cheque at the private viewing on Friday, June 10 by Fi Mathieson from space-pod.

“We were particularly impressed with Tim’s design concept for an Island on the Thames – he embraced multi-disciplinary spatial design practices to integrate architecture, landscape design, and service design.”

Space-pod supports the spatial design course because of its focus on both, the theory and practice of design. We take students into space-pod to give them an experience of our commercial activities and have given a scholarship to one student, who will also join us full-time in the summer.
